EPL ROund 35

Start your weekend off in style with a few winners in the EPL.  James Kempton is back to give you angles worth exploring for every fixture across the pond.

Leicester v Newcastle
Leicester -0.5 Goals 2.5

The Foxes bandwagon looks set to continue this Saturday as the home side full of momentum take on an awful Newcastle side. Six weeks ago this line would have been a Pk so have the teams changed so much in their overall quality since then? Maybe not but it’s the home team or nothing here.

Aston Villa v Everton
Pk Goals 2.5

Sherwood Mania is gripping the Claret and Blue side of Birmingham but will they start looking ahead to Wembley? The match market looks tricky so I prefer to side with the overs on the goal line here as Villa play a far more expansive game under Sherwood.

Liverpool v QPR
Liverpool -1.5 Goals 2.75

Rangers’ failure to beat West Ham last week has all but condemned them to relegation. The home team need a performance after that horrible midweek loss to Hull and the visitors seem perfect for some goal difference improvement. I favour the home win and overs on the goal line.

Sunderland v Southampton
Southampton -0.5 Goals 2

I love what Ronald Koeman has done at St Mary’s but at this stage of the season laying half a goal with them away from home seems loaded with risk. The home team could scrap for a point so I lean towards Sunderland on the handicap line. The Saints don’t concede many goals to poor teams so it’s under or pass regarding the total

Swansea v Stoke
Swansea -0.25 Goals 2.25

Both clubs have taken big steps forward this season but this has all the hallmarks of an end of season game. One to leave alone completely in my book!

West Ham v Burnley
West Ham -0.25 Goals 2.5

West Ham haven’t looked interested for weeks whilst Burnley are interested…they’re just not very good. Burnley need to win this game as it could be all over for them so straight up bets either way are the way forward.

Man Utd v West Brom
United -1.25 Goals 2.75

United need to bounce back after a couple of bad defeats so a West Brom side looking ahead to their summer holidays are perfect patsies. Give me the home side to win and cover as LVG will want to pad out his beloved statistics in these sorts of games.

Chelsea v C Palace
Chelsea -1.25 Goals 2.75

Chelsea will win and win the title in this game. Unlike other home games where Jose calls the dogs off I see the Blues expressing themselves and racking up the offensive fireworks. Chelsea to win, cover and if the first goal goes in early this could turn very ugly for Pardew’s Palace.

Spurs v Man City
Man City -0.5 Goals 3

Tottenham are back to being an overs machine and with City finding their shooting boots this should be a very open and exciting game. I loved the overs on the goal line when it opened at 2.75 but it’s been bet up to 3. That’s steep but I’d still favour an overs bet as opposed to a bet on the difficult looking match market.

Hull v Arsenal
Arsenal -0.75 Over 2.5

Hull have come out fighting of late as two straight wins show they will be no pushovers in this game. Can you trust Arsenal in this spot with in truth nothing to play for? At this line it’s a pass for me as although I think Arsenal will win the risk/reward is stacked to the risk side.
