UFC Fight Night 64

Welcome Fight Enthusiasts. Saturday’s card from Krakow offers several fighters we have little information on and as a result we’re reluctant to force the issue. Further we have been out of town for personal reasons which will force us to be brief in our positions and reasoning for each. Written by @Gamblou UFC 2015: 24-25 + $887.00 -Let’s Fight- Stasiak -125 vs Meza +105 This seems a fight that is set up for Stasiak’s success. He is the younger fighter and a polished Polish prospect. Meza arrives in Krakow the older fighter returning to the 145 division with the design of taking the local kid to the mat for a maul. We feel Stasiak with a strong karate base and an advantage on the feet is a value here even though he faces a capable cat from the MMA Lab. Stasiak -125 Edwards -130 vs. Baczynski +110 Baczynski will have the crowd and will need to get this fight to the floor. It will be Edwards however who sports the skills. We will side with the lefty who is more skilled in the stand-up department, faster and much the younger fighter. Edwards -130 Manuwa -155 vs. Blachowicz +135 Manuwa is an impressive looking athlete but we do not trust his ability to fight for more than 90 seconds. If Blachy can withstand the furious first few minutes we believe he will be able to control the fight as he is the more well-rounded fighter. In his second UFC spot we see potential in the pup. Fight Night 63

Welcome Enthusiasts to another UFC card. We would be remiss if we did not wish all Fight Enthusiasts a happy Holiday. Whether one celebrates Easter, Passover or no holiday at all we want to express our best wishes to all this special weekend. For Uncle Louie it’s all about Faith, Famiglia, Friends and ….Fights! UFC 2015: 23-20 + 1,112.00 (All GambLou.com releases are understood to be a standard and hypothetical $100 per position unless otherwise stated.  We utilize $100 to easily disclose bottom line results as every GambLou.com suggestion is accounted for publicly each Monday AM.  Public accounting allows us to display our gaming capability while providing our readers with 100% transparency). -Let’s Fight- Poirier -185 vs. Ferreira +165 Poirier is returning to the 155 weight limit after testing the 145’s. This return to us signifies a fighter struggling with fight identity after a decimating loss to the galling Gaelic Conor McGregor. In his return to 155 Poirier is facing a capable Brazilian off of two serious fights in which he lost to a top contender in Dariush and defeated a chap in Nijem that previously defeated Dariush! This capable Brazilian Black belt in Jiu-Jitsu is one dynamic fighter and we feel this is a tough spot for Poirier to say it simply. Ferreira opened +110 and now we can grab and extra half dollar! Ferreira +165 (We’ll be monitoring this line for if the parlay playing public does the usual, this line may grow and we’re about value so be patient and try to squeeze another dime of gaming value out of this line if possible) Chiesa -420 vs Clarke +340 If value is our goal let’s look no further than this fight. While Chiesa is the taller, longer man here we feel...

UFC FN 62 Mar21

UFC FN 62

UFC FN62 Maia vs. LaFlare: Begging for Beagles in Brazil Welcome fight Enthusiasts to FN 62 from Rio. Contrary to UFC 185 where we worked diligently to whittle numerous live Labradors to a select few, today we struggle to diagnose even a couple of dogs worthy of our dollars. The main event for today’s foray of fighters would be placed in the 5th position of last week’s card by way of compelling combatants. That said our goal is to pull profit from these pugilist so with today’s theme being ‘SELECTIVITY’ let’s begin. UFC 2015: 21-19 + $1,047.00 (All GambLou.com suggested wagers are understood to be a standard and hypothetical $100 per position unless otherwise stated. Public accounting allows us to display our gaming capability while providing our readers with 100% transparency). -Let’s Fight- Note: The last fight card in Brazil realized rabid runts running rampant in the streets of Porto Alegre, Brazil but more importantly we witnessed the usual dominance of the home County Brazilians stymied as most of the home town hombre’s got handled. Was this a rare occurrence or is the new testing program in the UFC exposing something many have speculated for some time? Rhetorical question certainly but one we must address. We believe that the Brazilian home Countrymen on the slate today are well aware of what happened the last time the UFC visited Brazil and that local pride will be even more enhanced and the fans even more enthusiastic than usual…..which should be something to witness! Martin -140 vs. Santos +120 Interesting to observe that there has been a reversal of the Favorite in this fight. Santos opened -180 and now we see that he is an underdog in this matchup. Martin takes this fight on relative short notice...

UFC 185 Mar14

UFC 185

UFC 185 Texas Tapout: Pettis vs. Dos Anjos Welcome fight Enthusiast to UFC 185. Let’s open by utilizing a quote from Mr. Warren Buffet displayed on the Gamblou.com webpage… Written by Gamblou “Price is what you pay, Value is what you get.” We display this wisdom simply because the basis for our positions in any sporting endeavor is gaming value. Many would say (as we once did) that if you feel like you know the winner of any particular event then grab it no matter the price. We disagree with that philosophy. In the UFC we feel our true competition is with the men setting the lines who over the last year or so have become much more difficult to contend with. We set our own numbers for each match then test ourselves by comparing our numbers with the opening lines. It is in this competition (and believe me it is a true test) that we derive the foundation for our ‘opinions’. It is also our belief (our intent is not to criticize) that the UFC wagering populous is inexperienced, lacking in savvy and light on gaming acumen. It’s with a ‘gut feel’ for what we believe the true odds should be in any particular fight coupled with the value we may obtain from enhanced prices based on line movements that we publicize our gaming releases. Pure gaming value is our single goal so with that said let’s just mention two fights we discussed earlier in the week in discussions with professional MMA journalists. Pacheco -125 vs. de Randame +105 This was a target fight when we had the opportunity to share our thoughts on The Fight Corner Thursday AM with Ms. Heidi Fang. At the time de Randame was +135 and it was...

Welcome Gamblou

I wanted to take this chance to introduce to all of you one of our newest contributors to the site. Gamblou has written extensively on UFC gambling around the net for a while now and when he approached me about contributing to the site I couldn’t say no.  Rather than having me paraphrase his philosophies he wanted to write an introductory letter of sorts sharing his philosophies on betting MMA. Welcome fight Enthusiasts to GambLou.com and our new shared access with ToddsTakes.com. We want to thank Todd for allowing us to post our UFC  insight on his outstanding gaming website.   We are honored to be contributors. We’ll be posting all of our UFC blogs (as well as select other gaming intelligence) as early as Saturday March 14th for UFC 185. We would like to set any new readers up with the basic blueprint by which we at GambLou.com operate so there may be as much understanding of our methods as possible before we dive headfirst into this exciting endeavor. *The single point of focus of GambLou.com is Profitable Sports Gaming.
